Dramamine really works. If you were just queasy, you could use ginger, or acupressure, but for real sickness, I'd take the Dramamine (it's just an antihistamine) and drowse the flight away.

I have had vertigo and motion sickness all my life. Do not take dramamine as it will make you sleepy. Go to Wal-Mart Pharmacy and ask for Meclizzine in tablet or chewable form. It costs around 8.00 to 10.00 for 100 tablets. Bonine has meclizzine in it and it a little costly for only 8 tablets. Take 1 to 2 tablets at least 30 minutes before boarding the plane. If using the chewables......I always chew three because they are more like a generic of meclizzine. You can chew a couple more later in the day if you feel a little yucky. I take meclizizne every day of my life to control vertigo. Trust me, it will work as well as a patch and cost a whole lot less.

I have a crazy sensitive stomach, especially when traveling. I've never been big on meds, and I'm WAY too impatient to wait for them to kick in, so I usually just hit a pressure point.

On the inside of your wrist, right under the creases where it bends, dead center, there is a little indent between 2 tendons, it feels almost circular. I press down in that spot with my thumb and breath deeply, it usually takes 20-30 seconds for the motion sickness to pass.

You may have to do it more than once depending on how sick you feel, but doing it maybe once or twice and hour for under 2 minutes at a time got me through my 8 hour flight from London to Toronto without vomiting once.

I hope this helps.

Drugs never really did the trick for me :)

I suggest you go to the drugstore and buy these amazing wrist band thingies that work really well. Put them on when you get on the plane and you just might not vomit :)

Sorry if this didn't help.

You can ask your doctor for a prescription for a medicine named Scopropoline, or TransDerm Scop. TransDerm Scop is a form of Scopropoline that is worn in a patch behind your ear. The prescription is cheap.

The patch stays on for up to 3 days, and you put it on a few hours before you travel. There is no drowsiness from the patch.

I have horrible motion sickness and this patch changed my life.

I think the most natural way is to probably relax and not to take tablets. Usually tablets damage your health :) You're being nauseated so I suggest you try and sit down relax and sleep or something to distract you so you're not nauseated.

I have know doctor prescribing ' Avil ' tab to avoid vomiting while travelling. Even dry Amla candied or salted would help.

Your local drugstore have a strap you put around your wrist that works a lot better than pills. You should check it out.

dramamine, antivert, any type of antihistamine. Like sudafed or tylenol sinus usually helps also.
