What are the best poceedures in protecting your hands and feet from frostbite when hiking in one or more of these 3 conditions.

1) Higher elevation ie. above 5000 feet.
2) In snowy enviroments where there is potential to get wet.
3) When your socks/gloves are wet.

Change your activity level according to the temperature.

Take frequent breaks.

Dress appropriately for the environment.

Drink large amounts of fluids.

try wearing gloves and socks made out of thinsulate...it will most definitely keep you warm!

there are little packets you can put in your shoes and gloves that have a chemical reaction to make heat, i've used them and they're awesome...
