I think the phrase "It won't happen to me, I'm care full" comes to mind



Sometimes its the thrill of the risk and the adrenaline rush



Could be to show off



May be no other way of doing whatever needs to be done



Safety rule may be ridiculous as in someone got hurt by a freak accident so a rule was made (like some English schools will only allow children to play conkers with safety goggles on)

people are lazy. they simply don't want to take extra precautions when it comes to their safety...it would be too much work. in today's ever-growing lazy society, they value convienece over satefy. when they end up getting hurt, they're the same idiots that sue the company for something that was their fault to begin with.
